Wedding season is upon us. BEME took part in a wedding show in January called Unbridled and it was so nice being around all the brides and grooms to be. May and October seem to be the most popular months this year to get married. That’s what I kept hearing over and over while at the show. So spring and fall brides listen up… What gift are you giving to your significant other on your wedding day? I find it harder and harder to buy gifts for others
now that everything is so accessible instantly. I used to get
a Walkman for friends and they thought I was hot stuff but that’s just not the case anymore. Trends are changing faster than you can keep up with
and so my motto is to stay classic and steady.
There is never a time that someone who is truly in love with you won’t want YOU as a gift. That’s where I come in. No I’m not a traditional wedding photographer but I do work with a LOT of brides to be.
Creating a portfolio of images that freeze you during such a transitional time is a great gift. After working hard to get in shape, redefining your future, and remembering the beautiful person you are inside, it’s nice to have something to showcase.
I love to hear clients relate the reactions of their new partners when they present their boudoir imagery as a wedding gift. The recipient is always in awe of what they see not because of the quality of the images (though I think they are pretty nice…) but because they are shocked and pleasantly surprised by what there other half has chosen to share with them. Showing vulnerability is a beautiful thing when put in the right hands.
Here are some samples of bridal boudoir that I have done lately. If you think you are too shy to do bridal boudoir please call me. It’s not always what you think. Take a peek at how some of our clients chose to interpret the beginning of their wedded bliss. Enjoy the pics…
