Sometimes what we can’t understand or rationalize makes us limited in what we experience. Think about all of the things we miss out on because we couldn’t
take the plunge! Well over the weekend I helped a very close person in my life to learn how to swim. 22 years of sitting on pool steps and avoiding face contact with pool water all came to a holt this last Friday evening. How did she do it? She had to realize that there couldn’t be a bottom underneath her for her toes to cling onto. She had to trust herself. Well, she jumped in! Not dipped but DOVE right
into 8 feet of chlorinated horror. What was the result? She put some stock in herself, frantically moved her arms and legs and made it to the top. This chick believed in herself and accomplished a lifelong goal. Sometimes it just takes some mental motivation to get you where you want to go… The world just gained another swimmer and now public pools across America are no longer off limits to this amazing woman I am proud to know. Where am I going with this???……JUMP IN! Try on some new skin. Think outside the box. See yourself as something you never thought possible. Imagine the possibility of a fresh outlook.
On Another Note…
